BRI Information

Each summer the University of Washington School of Medicine offers the Biomedical Research Integrity Series for students funded by training grants (NRSA T32). This series fulfills the PHS requirements.

At some point during your training in the MSTP, you will be funded by the MSTP training grant. This will occur randomly during the first three years and/or the last 2 years of your studies. It is a requirement of the MSTP that all trainees during their time in the program attend at least 3 lectures and participate in at least 1 discussion group. Attendance is taken.

While in the PhD portion of your studies, many of you may be funded by other training grants. The directors of those grants may have different requirements, so check with them or the department that administers the grant.

The lecture series offerings vary from year to year. Details of the current year's offerings and information about registration may be found at http://depts.washington.edu/uwbri/.
