Downtown Seattle

With vast views of Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountain Range, Downtown Seattle not only offers beauty but also the vivaciousness of a dynamic international city. In the heart of the Emerald city are multitudes of activities and attractions ranging from the arts and entertainment to sporting events. Throughout the 275 blocks of Downtown Seattle, 1,500 retailers varying from art galleries to large department stores inhabit the area. Seattle's downtown is also home to the Seattle Art Museum, the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Space Needle, and the world famous Pike Place Market. Sports fans rush downtown to Safeco Field to watch the Mariners, to Key Arena to root for the Supersonics, and to Qwest Field to cheer on the Seahawks. Food abounds in this diverse area with over 500 restaurants showcasing regional and world cuisine. Visitors to downtown Seattle enjoy the diversity it encompasses.
