Whistler, British Columbia

Whistler is probably best known as a skiers' destination, but much more than skiing exists in this small resort town. Home to the greatest vertical terrain in North America and frequently rated as one of the best places to ski, it's no wonder that Whistler is famous for skiing. Its two mountains, Whistler and Blackcomb, are located side-by-side and offer skiers and snowboarders endless runs. Whistler has an exceptionally long season with spring skiing available until mid-June. With 7,000 acres of skiable terrain and its long season, this town is a must see for any winter sport enthusiast. Whistler isn't only amazing during the winter, summertime is just as beautiful and exciting as the winter.

Whistler has so many summer activities, it's a challenge to decide which activity to do. How about fishing, golfing, hiking, river rafting, or horseback riding? Maybe paragliding, a gondola ride to the top of the mountain, or a helicopter tour fit your interests better. The choice of activities is endless! If outdoor activities aren't your cup of tea, Whistler has that covered too.

Whistler Village is home to a variety of restaurants, retail stores, spas, health clubs, museums, and art galleries. At night, the bars, pubs, and nightclubs in the Village are crowded with people from all over the world.

Only a four hour drive from Seattle, Whistler has something for everyone. Whether you visit Whistler for a weekend or week, you'll always have something new to try.
