Victoria, Canada

Victoria is one of the Pacific Northwest's most popular tourist destinations. The city's English Old World charm is unmistakable. Double-decker buses whirl down busy streets, elegant Victorian homes stretch as far as the eye can see, and traditional high tea is served at the Fairmont Empress Hotel.

Victoria is often called The Garden City, and there are many gardens available to view. Near Victoria, the world famous Butchart Gardens grows over one million plants annually from 700 varieties in their 55-acre garden.

Situated on the southeast edge of Vancouver Island, Victoria can only be reached by ferry. From downtown Seattle, Victoria is only a two and half hour ferry ride away.
