The MD/PhD Program at the University of Washington is dedicated to the training of medical scientists who desire to carry out fundamental research in clinically important human diseases. A diverse student body brings a wide range of perspectives to the classroom, the clicnic, and the lab, and a diverse educational community encourages students to search for new ways to solve problems and to consider the impact of projects across cultural and socio-economic lines and international borders. We value diversity in our Program, and we are committed to providing a nuturing and supportive environment for all members of our community.
